The Fifth Stage is Eric Francis's 5th studio album. This Progressive Metal/Djent concept album is a continuation of the story of Eric's life dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic and is a direct followup of Under a Fake Sky. Musically, it builds off of the progressive metal style of the previous album but doubles down on Eric's brand of "musical whiplash." This album was performed and recorded in its entirety at home by Eric Francis in quarantine.
